Chocolate Tart

Ingredients

  • For the crust:
  • 100g cashews (soaked)
  • milk (plant based, for example almond milk)
  • hand full of pitted dates
  • maple syrup
  • 4tbsp cricket powder
  • 4tbsp almond flour
  • 2tbsp coconut oil
  • cinnamon
  • For the filling:
  • 150 cashews (soaked)
  • 1tsp vanilla powder
  • 250g creem cheese
  • cocoa powder
  • 2tbsp coconut oil
  • 3tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

For the crust: mix all ingredients together in a food processor. Start with the cashews ( they should be soaked prior for half an hour!) and the milk. Then add the rest and mix well.

Press the base in your tart mould and put in the freezer for half an hour.

For the filling: Mix the soaked cashews with the plant milk first and add the rest of the ingredients. Add more milk if needed, this should be a nice, smooth mass.

Add the filling to the tart and place in the fridge (or freezer) to set.

Serve chilled with toppings. We used nuts and chocoalte chips.
